Everybody has the list. Two shelves, a mirror, the blind that came down, a curtain pole, the wardrobe still in its box, a loose banister, a door handle, three pictures and a smoke alarm nobody can reach. Individually none of them justifies a tradesman. Together they have been ignored for a year.

Fixed to the wall properly
Shelves, floating shelves, mirrors, TV brackets, radiator covers, coat hooks, handrails, curtain poles and blinds — with the right fixing for what is actually behind the plaster. Plasterboard, brick, dot-and-dab and lath all want different anchors, and choosing wrong is how a bracket ends up on the floor with the TV.
Flat-pack and assembly
Wardrobes, beds, desks, storage units, garden furniture and gym equipment built and, where they should be, secured to the wall. Missing or broken fixings replaced from the van rather than the job being abandoned halfway.
Small repairs around the house
Sticking doors and windows eased, handles, hinges, catches and locks replaced, draught strips and thresholds fitted, silicone renewed, holes filled and touched in, loose tiles re-bedded, letterplates and house numbers fitted. Nothing on the list is too small to mention.
Access and awkward jobs
Bulbs, ceiling roses, smoke and heat alarms, loft ladders and high-level cleaning — the jobs people put off because they need a proper ladder and a second pair of hands. We bring both.
