We turn up when we said we would
This is the single most repeated line in our reviews, and it is the whole job. If something on the morning runs over, you get a phone call before your slot, not after it.

Nine trades under one roof means a list of unrelated jobs is one booking rather than four. Nothing on it is too small to mention, and we would rather clear six little things in a morning than take only the one that suits us.

A price before we start, from a published rate
Our hourly rate is published rather than quoted on the doorstep, and larger work is priced in writing before anyone lifts a tool. Reviewers mention a quick turnaround on quotes, which is deliberate.

We tell you when it is not our job
Gas appliances need a Gas Safe engineer and some electrical work is notifiable. We publish no certification we cannot show you a number for, and we will refer a job on rather than have a go at it.

No badge wall, and here is why
There is not a single trade logo on this website.
Most handyman sites carry a row of scheme logos. Ours does not, because no scheme registration number is published for this business anywhere — and a badge without a number is worth less than nothing once a customer thinks to check it. Where a job legally needs a registered engineer, such as anything on a gas appliance, we say so and refer it on. Where you want evidence of a qualification, ask and you will get a direct answer rather than a graphic.
